What is included in your services?
We will help customize a package that fits your needs. We find that most customers need about 6 hours. This time includes the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, special dances and about 3 hours of a dance party. We provided a professional sound system, turntables, a DJ/Emcee, one wireless handheld microphone, set-up and tear-down for the event.
We also offer other incredible add on services including a Day of Coordinator (includes a minimum of 10 hours of service), Officiant Service (includes unique ceremony and custom vows), Video Slideshow (created with your wedding photos to make a lasting keep sake item), Video Guestbook (compilation of well wishes from your guests), and additional musical needs such as rehearsal and/or bachelor/bachelorette parties.
What is the process to book you?
Most people start by filling out the Free Consultation Request form. Then one of our team members will reach out and set up a phone call, video call, or face to face meeting. We want to make sure we are a perfect fit for you and your wedding. We also love hearing about your amazing ideas you already have and how we can help make those dreams a reality. This is also a time to educate you about of services more completely and answer any remaining questions you may have.
After the initial meeting, if you choose to work with us, we will put together a contract for your wedding/event. Once signed, we will collect a deposit to secure your event date. From there, you are more than welcome to communicate with us as much or little as you want. About a month before your wedding, a DJ will reach out to you and start working through special songs for first dances and music taste for cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance party. Lastly, about a week before your wedding, we will finalize the details of the day so that we can act like an additional day of coordinator and help run things smoothly. Day of you should just enjoy the moment. We are here to help you stress less and dance more.
Can we pick all the music to be played?
Absolutely! if you want to pick every single song from ceremony to dance party, feel free to do that. If you just have a few specific songs you want played and a general vibe for the rest of the night, that’s perfect too! You can even just give us a “Do Not Play” list of songs to avoid and we will do the rest. Our DJs do a terrific job of reading the room and matching the vibe of your wedding to the music selection being played.
Can we come see you perform at another wedding?
Unfortunately not. As much as we love the movie Wedding Crashers, we also respect our client’s guest list. We do perform at a handful of public events throughout the year. If you are interested in seeing us perform, just ask and we will try to find a date for you to join us.
Can you play music at our rehearsal?
For sure! Couples hire us all the time to provide music during their rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. We even get hired out to play music at bachelor and bachelorette parties. Bring us along on the party bus or maybe even take over a bar for the night! We’ve done it all from boat parties to house parties. Let us know how we can make your entire wedding experience perfect.
How do your DJs get people to dance?
Our DJs are trained to read the dance floor and seamlessly blend from one hit to the next without missing a beat and keeping people on the dance floor. We have found that if the bride and/or groom are dancing and having fun, the guests follow their lead. This is why we want to make sure you love your music selection as well to keep you dancing all night. Occasionally, we will also play group dance songs like Cupid Shuffle to get the dance floor hopping again… unless that song is on your “Do Not Play” list 🙂 then we will find something else to best fit your dance floor. Our favorite moments are when guests need to leave (for whatever reason) and come running back in to dance another song! It happens.
What do you need from us?
Every event is different, but typically we need one 6 foot table, access to power, wifi access.
Do you DJ outside of the Southern Kentucky/Nashville and Seattle areas?
Yes! We love travel gigs. Since we already split time in Seattle and Bowling Green, it is easy for us to play pretty much anywhere. Outside of our home areas, we have performed events in San Francisco, San Diego, and Charlette and we are happy to perform anywhere in the country you need us! We are honored you would like us to be a part of your special day enough to travel us there. Reach out for more information on pricing.
What if my DJ can’t be at my event because of an unforeseen emergency?
No worries! We have back up DJs in case of emergencies. We know your wedding is a big deal and we only get one shot to make it perfect. We have prepared for the worst case scenario and hope we never need to execute our emergency plan.
We like you! What’s next?
