My wife and I got married in the summer of 2019. In the midst of what seemed like a never ending list of decisions we had to make regarding the wedding planning, we were overwhelmed with options. We chose to have a DJ for our reception, and after reviewing several options, chose Tim Freeburg (DJ T-Free). We are so glad we chose him! He was enthusiastic and energetic on the microphone, he worked well with our wedding planner to make sure the order of events flowed well at the reception, and we had more people dance until the reception ended than we EVER expected! We gave him songs that were important to us and they all got played, he took requests and improvised well, and made the night fun for everyone. Guests at our wedding told us for weeks how much fun they had at our reception, primarily because our DJ kept the mood and atmosphere fun all night. We highly recommend DJ T-Free!

Commitment to His Passion
Tim took the time to make a plan for our preferences of our wedding, and made sure to pay special attention to specific requests that we had. He also contributed a lot of his own ideas, which was much appreciated. The day of the wedding, he arrived with all of his equipment ready to go (after making the driving trip to San Diego with all of his gear in tow), knew just what to do and had a great handle on the logistics of everything.
He brought such great energy and fun to our wedding, and it was very special to have him there to celebrate with us, especially because of the bond we have shared. Not only does he know how to start a party and keep it going, but it’s truly his commitment to his passion and performing at his best that shines through.
He is professional, easy to work with and makes the whole process easy. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for DJ services for their event, not only as a customer, but as a friend!

Extremely Professional
We hired Tim to DJ our wedding and couldn’t have been happier. My wife and I were extremely picky about the music we wanted played during our big day and Tim delivered. He set the exact mood we were hoping for. I’ve read a few other reviews suggesting Tim knows how to read the crowd; this is an understatement. People had a tough time leaving the building because of Tim. Not only was he a fantastic DJ but he brought something special to the occasion in just the right amount. As the Master of Ceremonies, Tim was extremely professional. He knew what to say and when to say it. He brought all his own equipment and took care of all the details. Dance Floor Busy All Night
Tim was easy to reach and very communicative throughout the planning process. He was happy to accept playlist requests from me and kept the dance floor busy all night! He’s not one of those DJs who thinks a wedding is his private performance to show off his own tastes, but rather catered to what we asked for and kept the evening running smoothly. I’ve referred Tim to friends who have gotten married since, and absolutely will continue doing so.

Exceeded Expectations
Tim was the DJ for our wedding reception. He listened to what we wanted and chose songs we suggested but also chose songs that fit with the crowd. I can’t believe how affordable he is for such an excellent DJ. He even MC’d our wedding and moved the party along thru different events. He was polite, on time, and all around exceeded expectations. Perfect Vibe
DjT-Free was our first choice to DJ our wedding and we were so happy with the outcome. T-Free was low pressure, took initiative and provided the exact vibe we were looking for during each portion of the ceremony and reception. We gave him a short list of songs as guide to set the tone for the pieces of the evening, and he was able to take those suggestions and build a playlist that continued the fun for hours!

Didn’t Miss a Beat
Tim was our DJ for our wedding this last May. At our initial consultation we easily talked about the logistics of our wedding. Our venue didn’t offer any sound equipment, but we didn’t need to worry since Tim supplied everything from microphones to lights for dancing. He had great music suggestions and assured us that any music we needed would be available. Leaving our consultation we felt confident that all of our needs would be met.
The day of our wedding, He easily worked with our officiant, perfectly cueing up our ceremony music. He did an amazing job as our master of ceremonies. We loved how great he interacted with our guests and kept them entertained and on the dance floor. He was really flexible when we decided to move up our bouquet and garter toss. He didn’t miss a beat and blended in the music we wanted for the bouquet and garter toss. He was such a pleasure to work with and he made sure that our wedding was smooth and fun.

He is organized, punctual, responsive, amiable, professional, and engaging. Tim kept the energy level up the entire evening at our wedding! We couldn’t have imagined having anyone else as our DJ. Simply outstanding customer service, great patience, and fit right in with our rowdy guests. Lastly, we had an outdoor ceremony with record high temperatures for WA on June 27th, not one single complaint from Tim about the weather conditions.

Organized. Affordable. Honest.
We used DJ T-Free for our wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies. He was organized, affordable, honest, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. His equipment worked well for the ceremony and reception with incredible volume yet control for the needed quiet parts. He worked with us to create a play list that we wanted, and when we drew a blank he was able to fill it in and keep the whole party dancing the entire time. He really knows how to keep an event’s pace moving with a vast collection of music. Overall we were very satisfied with DJ T-Free and would recommend him to anybody who wants to ensure a good time without having to worry about anything.

We Will Be Seeing Him Again Soon
Tim was recommended to us by my sister-in-law, who had attended a wedding he had DJ’ed and who she thought did an amazing job. My husband and I were looking for someone who could MC and play music without being cheesy or inauthentic with the crowd. Tim was exactly what we were looking for. He played the music we wanted and also took initiative when we asked him for ideas. He was also comfortable taking care of all the MC’ing and had a great, honest attitude. Tim was also punctual and reliable. For the services he offered, Tim was very reasonably priced, and we couldn’t be happier with how he did at our wedding! Finally, we’ll be seeing him again soon when he DJ’s for my sister-in-law’s wedding!

Worked Flawlessly
My wife and I hired Tim to DJ our wedding. We had a great experience with Tim from the initial consultation through the day of the wedding.
When we first met with Tim we explained to him our various musical tastes, must-haves, and must-not-haves for the wedding. Leading up to the day of the wedding, we frequently communicated about the music and he was very receptive.
On the day of, Tim was very professional, and all of the equipment (including mics) worked flawlessly. He read the crowd well, played music that got everyone up on their feet, and as the night dragged on, played music that kept us going.
