Meet the Founder
Tim Freeburg (DJ T-Free) started DJing with his older brother for fun at Seafair in Seattle. He then became a professional DJ when his math students complained about their Homecoming DJ and subsequently hired T-Free for their Winter Formal. Having instant success with this event, he quickly became the go to DJ for all the local high schools. While having “summers off” as a teacher, he started booking wedding gigs and every wedding was a hit! Brides, grooms, guests and vendors all have raving reviews from perfect music selection to making everything so easy. This led to a full calendar with weddings in multiple states. Tim has since trained additional DJs and partnered with other wedding specialist to create an all inclusive experience that you’ll never forget.
Tim grew up in the Seattle area. He has sold investments and insurance, continues to sell fireworks for 4th of July, has taught high school math for years, was a youth workshop facilitator with a non profit is California, met his wife on an airplane, and has made Southern Kentucky his home with his wife and 4 dogs. Tim loves the water, snowboarding and sports in general. His favorites include football, basketball and volleyball, which both coaches and plays. Some describe him as a giant kid and there is no shortage of laughter and good times when he is around. He credits his dad for his dance moves and ability to quote movies and sing songs that match any situation. Below are a few photo of Tim and his family.
